Board governance is not about me. It's about our Students.

During my two terms with the Butler R-V School District, I served as the president, vice-president, secretary, and treasurer. In order to be effective, one must understand board dynamics. I have developed these skills and used them to promote excellence from board members.

My Family.

Karla and I have been married for 28 years. She completed her masters degree at the University of Central Missouri and currently teaches Spanish for the Lee's Summit School District. We have two daughters. One is a senior enrolled in the district and the other recently graduated from LSR-7. We are fortunate and pleased to be a part of this school district.
